Who We Are

Trinity Flynn

It was through my own experience of burnout and the imbalance that followed that I discovered Kinesiology and Reiki. The support and healing that it provided inspired me to study and embody a more holistic approach to the way I would support others on their healing journey.

I have 25 plus year’s experience as a Registered Nurse in a diversity of specialities and for the past 14 years I have chosen to specialize in Mental Health. The last 5 of those years have been as Clinical Nurse at Currumbin Clinic where I was privileged to be a team leader of a mood and anxiety disorder unit, working with an amazing team of nurses who inspired me daily.

My role has continued to evolve and grow at Currumbin to now facilitating Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) groups as part of the Clinics outpatient program. The core principles and skills that DBT teaches are Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Emotional Regulation. Interestingly, these skills have helped me on a personal level to inform my approach to my kinesiology practice and the clients that I hold space for. The unique healing tool of kinesiology captured my heart as a means to tap into the body’s innate intelligence. The biofeedback that muscle monitoring allows creates opportunities to honour and release stress held in the body at many levels.  The transformations it can facilitate can range from the very subtle to the most profound.

My timeout from busy ward nursing has allowed my creative juices to flow to create a space that would be a synergy of my skills, and an opportunity to bring in other like-minded souls to work, learn and grow with.

Enter………..TRINITY TREE………a space to CONNECT, HEAL, and GROW.

I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.

Growing up I was always intrigued by the why. Always wanting to understand things at a deeper level. At age 12 I started seeing a kinesiologist for sports injuries and began to learn there was an emotional connection to these ailments as well. I knew then that I had found my calling.

I went on to study Mind Body Medicine, Acupressure and Neuro Linguistic Kinesiology. Integrating all 3 modalities, I individualize each treatment to cater to you and what your body needs physically and emotionally.

I work with newborns through to the elderly. Working with children and seeing the transformative changes in little ones truly fills my cup, which is exactly why I do what I do. I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.

For the past 17 years I have exclusively been a Mental Health Social Worker and Art Therapist working within both my private practice and in a private psychiatric hospital working with adult individuals and groups.

I am experienced in a range of mental health and psychosocial areas, and I am an effective Social Worker who is comfortable counselling diverse groups of people. My approach is client centred and trauma informed, and I use a range of therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of the client.

As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity and a sense of humour. My down to earth, realistic approach to counselling aims to bring a sense of empowerment to nurture the most authentic self to emerge.

Some of the areas I have experience with are Addictive Disorders, Mood Disorders, PTSD, Domestic Violence, Stress, Adjustment Disorders, Parenting, Grief and Loss.

Referrals can be made through a treating psychiatrist or GP using a Mental Health Care Plan. I can provide home visits or telehealth if required.
